SEWN Launch Party Giveaway

To celebrate the launching of a new site for sewers, called SEWN I've decided to join the party and host a giveaway :)

The website will have just about everything you can think of that you would want online as a sewer. There are forums, online advice from industry experts, conversion charts, colour wheels, free patterns and class listings.

I'll be giving away a surprise sewing package, that will include fabric and some sewing notions (like buttons, ribbons, etc...) that will be revealled on the june 8, the day of the drawing.

Quando mostrei esta foto noutro lado, houve várias pessoas a perguntarem onde comprei a caixa, a pedirem para lhes comprar, e a mostrar interesse em ter uma destas caixinhas mágicas.

When I posted this photo, lot's of people asked where I bought this case and told they wanted one too.

Eu quando as vi na loja (Park dos tecidos) tive de comprar! Parva, só comprei 2, uma para mim e uma para juntar a um presente para uma amiga querida.

When I saw them in the shop, I had to have one. Stupidly I've only bought 2, one for me and the other for a dear friend.

Confesso que uma das primeiras coisas que faço quando ligo o computador no emprego é ver o meu gmail (ups...) e a maior parte do spam que recebo é a avisar-me que ganhei a lotaria do Reino Unido! Confesso que já estou milionária, é que é todas as semanas... mas sou demasiado preguiçosa para me enfiar no avião "só" para levantar o prémio... grande inconveniente, ter de viajar todas as semanas "só" para receber um prémio... nããã... não me dou bem com o tal do jetlag...

Bom, mas voltando à minha manhã de hoje, quando abri o meu email, uma das mensagens recebidas tinha o seguinte assunto: YOU WON YOU WON YOU WON! claro que já estava pronta para clicar em "denunciar spam" quando um anjinho (ou terá sido o tal do génio?) me fez olhar duas vezes para o remetente... e aí :) um sorriso de orelha a orelha (sim, faço figuras estranhas no local de trabalho e tenho várias testemunhas, não é Rita... Lídia... humm Raquel?).
